3D powder printing of ceramic materials (calcium- and magnesium phosphate cement systems)

• Rapid Prototyping of nanocrystalline calcium- and magnesium phosphates for the use as degradable and individual scaffolds for tissue engineering or bone regeneration implants
• Drug modification of ceramic implants or injectable cement pastes and analysis of the release kinetics
• Fiber modification of calcium- and magnesium phosphate cements for the anisotropic enhancement of mechanical properties by 3D powder printing
• Rapid-Prototyping of calcium based filter systems for the adsorption of metal ions
• Characterization and optimization of bone cements concerning their chemical, mechanical and biological behaviour and workability
